Our Story

Neuron Nurturers was birthed through the uncontrollable need to share and serve.

Founded in 2024, by Delisa Wood, Neuron Nurturers is a weekly newsletter and safe place, designed to educate and support parents and caretakers of children dealing with Autism, Epilepsy, Dyslexia, ADHD and Severe Allergies.

Delisa's son Abrion, was diagnosed as severely Autistic in 2010, at the age of 2. This diagnosis would not only change the course of her son's life, but also Delisa's life, and the lives of her immediate and extended family. 

Neuron Nurturers was created for the parents and caretakers who are looking for better answers and solutions.

As a wife and mother of 4, Delisa, is finally ready to share her story of helping her son's healing, through healthy food's, supplements, therapies, prayer and love.

Delisa has provided a curated place for other parents and children in similar situations, to start or continue the process of their healing.

Neuron Nurturers is all about "not doing it alone."
